On June 14, 1777 we were still surfacing from a state of tyranny from which we had just declared our independence from only a year earlier.  Today we have trouble recognizing that tyranny, even as it breaks down all around us.  As the baseball season continues and people continue to pretend nothing is wrong, news and information remain in a state emergency.
